As you may know, ‘on-nomi’ is a Japanese term that has been coined for having a drink with friends and colleagues on-line, especially while socially distancing.
The CIPR Education & Skills Group would normally have a summer drinks social event but this year we will be going on-line and holding an ‘on-nomi’.
Join us and our special guest, Stephen Waddington on Tuesday 25 August at 6:30pm.
Stephen is a public relations innovator with a proven track record for modernising agency propositions and communication teams. His client work includes Amazon, The Associated Press, Booking.com, Capita, Cisco, The Economist, Intel, Optical Express, and Philips. Stephen is the author of the UK’s leading blog on communication and has written numerous books on marketing and PR. He is a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University.
Bring your own drinks and meet with fellow PR professionals from the Education and Skills sector while drinking responsibly (at home).
Please register and we’ll send you an access link by email on the day of the event: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cipr-education-skills-sector-group-virtual-drinks-tickets-116923889501
Please do not share the access link online.
This event is open to members and non-members alike.
What can I bring into the event?
Good humour, experience in your field and the will to share your experience and learn from others. As we’re all socially distancing at home, you’ll need to bring your own drink too.
Will the session be recorded?
No, this is an informal, networking event so we will not be recording it.
